About Spartans
Established in 1991, Spartans Gym was a result of Australian Body Building Champion Don Mahoney’s dream to set up one of the first world class gyms in Australia.
Spartans is widely renowned as a real ‘results’ gym, where people from all walks of life come to get fit and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. Our Gym features a huge range modern cardio-vascular equipment, resistance machines, free Weights, fitness classes, sauna, spa and indoor running track.
Full membership includes expert fitness assessments, personal programs, access to classes and use of all gym areas.
New Ownership – October 2011
In October of 2011 Spartans Gym was purchased by long term members Steve & Caryl Brennan and Danny & Brett Vorhauer. The new owners have vowed to maintain the core values and friendly atmosphere that has been synonymous with the Spartans name over the past 20 years, as well as implementing a number of upgrades to gym facilities and increasing the level of service provided to members.
