Everyone knows that exercise is good for you. But at Spartans Warrior Zone we like to make exercise fun. And exercise is always more fun when you’re doing it with friends.
That’s why we are holding Social Saturday at Spartans Warrior Zone for the next 4 Saturdays.
Bring a friend for free to the 8am Boot Camp session and join us afterwards to relax and socialise at the Spartans Gym cafe. Have a chat, grab a coffee, smoothie, water, protein drink, or whatever you enjoy after a your workout.

Not only does t𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 (and helps keep you accountable), it also increases how much you enjoy your training and the likeliness that you will continue to train consistently.
Studies confirm that working out with a partner significantly increases time spent exercising. A study by the Society of Behavioral Medicine showed that working with a partner, especially in a team format, improved performance, doubling the workout time of those who exercised alone.

Training in a group setting similar to the kind of training at Spartans Warrior Zone boot camps for at least a few workouts each week will help you push yourself past the threshold you tend to hit when working out solo — whether that be in time or intensity. If you’re training in a group setting with a friend then your results can be even greater!

One reason why you may push yourself harder when others are grunting alongside of you is the innate competitive streak in all of us. Group settings can lead to a positive competitiveness. For instance, wanting to keep up with those around you can make you push yourself harder than you would on your own.
**First time Spartan Warrior or bringing a friend along for the first time? All first time attendees must report to Spartans reception desk 15 minutes prior to their class starting for registration.
