Watch Out For – FITNESS HANGOVERS!
You know about wine and food hangovers, but now you also need to be wary of fitness hangovers. According to a US survey, almost a third of fitness buffs have felt so rundown after a particular tough workout, they’ve had to call in sick to work! Much like a booze-induced hangover, they can leave you feeling anxious, nauseous and sore.
To prevent one, ensure you warm up and cool down properly, don’t overdo your workouts and refuel with healthy fats, whole-grains and protein.
