These Grilled Chicken Broccoli Wraps are incredibly simple to prepare. All you really need are your favourite tortilla wraps, some chicken (if you have any leftover, that speeds things up! ), broccoli, and cheese. The finest wrap ever is made by cooking the chicken in a skillet, steaming the broccoli, then combining everything and finishing it in a panini press.
HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN AND BROCCOLI WRAPS
PREPARE THE CHICKEN
Seasonings should be combined in a bowl before being applied to the chicken. To make sure the marinade is evenly distributed, it helps to use your hands.
Cook the chicken thoroughly on a grill, grill pan, or in a skillet over a stovetop. Let the chicken cool before slicing it into strips to go with the broccoli in the wraps.
STEAM THE BROCCOLI
The broccoli should be steamed until soft. To achieve the vivid green color, you can throw it in a bowl of ice water as soon as its done steaming (optional).
ASSEMBLE
Each tortilla should have sour cream all over it, but the sides should remain plain. Add the cheese last, then the broccoli and lastly the cooked chicken. The wraps should be placed seam side down after using your hands to tuck and roll them.
COOK ON PANINI
Cook the wraps on the grill or in a panini press until they are golden brown. To prevent them from unravelling during cooking, it helps to arrange them seam side down first. If you'd like, you can also use a toaster oven, but don't skip heating them all the way through because the cheese melts and really ties everything together.
