What we offer

Spartans Gym covers a MASSIVE 38,000 square feet and includes many different areas dedicated to all types of fitness, weight loss and weight training.

15,000 sqft of fully equipped training space suitable for a large range of different training styles. Cardio machines, old school body building equipment and brand new specifically built bio-mechanically precise machines, competition grade power lifting benches, racks, platforms and functional training space equipped with all that is required for a functional session, rehabilitation work or just general warms ups. The main gym also features a large projector, over 10 fans, evaporative cooling and the Spartans ‘fitness for everyone’ vibe.

13,000 sqft of pin loaded machines, free weights, barbells and dumbbells to work every part of your body. With a 50m running track around the perimeter of the room, you can jog a lap to keep up you work-out intensity or take a walk around in-between exercises! This area also features our Group Fitness room which hosts over 50 classes a week, as well as a boxing area, stretching space, a private infrared sauna & a specialized Older But Stronger and Body Building Posing room. There’s even some space for some mat work and rehab exercises. You’ll never run out of things to do in this space!

For the ladies, a dedicated ladies only gym fitted out with everything you need to complete any type of workout that assists your goals; the room includes cardio equipment, free weights, a squat rack, machines and of course the entire room is climate controlled - only the best for the ladies! After you have finished your workout, the beauty bar awaits; complete with GHD hair straighteners and hair dryers, a space for just the ladies to get ready for the day ahead after a rejuvenating workout!

The most recent upgrade is our 10,000 sqft new Spartans Warrior Zone; not just a fitness arena, it is a community where we come together with like minded people to support and encourage one another. Designed to build each other up to be healthier and the best version of oneself. We offer a range of classes including Boot Camps, Altitude Cycle Room, Reformer Pilates & Child Minding.

About Us

Established in 1991, Spartans Gym was the result of Australian Body Building Champion Don Mahoney. His dream was to set up one of the first world class gyms in Australia. Spartans is widely renowned as a real ‘results’ gym, where people from all walks of life come to get fit and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. We may be old but we are young at heart! 30 years of service and forever keeping up with the latest trends and tech. Our lengthy history and dedicated, long standing members (some who have been with us since day 1) is a testament to our Spartans tagline ‘Fitness Solutions for Every Body’.

September 2011, Spartans Gym was purchased by long term trusted member and business neighbor; Danny Vorhauer. Danny saw the potential growth in Spartans and with his proven revolutionary way of thinking he was keen to ignite Spartans brand and take it to the next level! The plan was to add in extra services and facilities to attract not just Body Builders but ‘every body’ whilst always vowing to always maintain the core values and friendly vibe that Spartans has been admired for over the past 20 years.

Fast forward 10 years and Spartans is absolutely dominating the fitness industry. With many upgrades to the gym facility and an increased quality of service to our members we really do cater for ‘every body’!
